Polyurethane / PUR rod
PUR, or polyurethane, is a plastic material known for its excellent abrasion resistance at moderate temperatures.It has very high tensile and tear strength, as well as very good load-bearing capacity.
Additionally, PUR is resistant to oils, certain solvents, grease, ozone, sunlight, and weather.
However, it should be noted that its resistance to acids and alkalis is weak.
The operating temperature range for PUR is -30 °C to +80 °C, making it suitable for use in a variety of applications where resistance to wear and tear is required.
The material is sold in 500 mm rods
